Fat talk backfires; anyway that’s what psychologists at Notre Dame University concluded after a recent study on college aged women.

Women in the study were asked to rate women who were engaging in negative fat talk as well as women who were talking about their bodies in a positive manner.

The women in the study concluded that the subjects who made positive comments about their body and weight were much more likeable.
