Who I am makes me happy

finding happinessAre you happy with your life or do you feel there are parts missing?

If you are interested in finding more happiness you may have to train your subconscious mind where to look.  Finding happiness isn’t hard, as long as you know what to look for.

If you think you would like to be happier then read this message out loud to yourself morning and night for the next 21 days.

Who I am makes me happy

Finding happiness is easy for me. That’s because I choose how I spend my time and who I invest my time with.

Each day is like a new beginning for me, a chance to grow and improve. At times my life is less than perfect, yet, even when situations out of my control occur, the way I respond because of who I am makes me happy to be me.

I am happy with who I am because I unique and worthy. I accept who I am, both my strengths and idiosyncrasies

I am happy because I am so much more than the number of my achievements. I am more than any trophies I collect.

I am happy investing time with the people I love. In turn I am loved by my friends and family.

I am pleased with everything about myself. Even though I experience situations when I choose incorrectly, ultimately, I know that I can learn and recover from every situation that comes my way.

I am happy because I learn from every experience.

Regardless of what happens, what situations arise, I know I can successfully deal with them. I know I can make it through. I am happy with who I am.

When people ask me why I am so happy, I tell them there is no secret to finding happiness. I simply pursue the things that are important to me, never forgetting to do what is really important to me.

I also share that I know I am responsible for everything in my life and because of that responsibility I choose to live in ways that are productive, calm, and pleasing.

Today, I remember all of the reasons why I am happy with being me. I will write them down on paper and in my heart.

As I review my list I rejoice in being me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. What do I love most about myself?
  2. Is there anything about me I would change?
  3. What can I do to love myself even more today?
