Do you work on the fifth floor? Instead of talking the elevator, take the stairs.

You can also make your dog happier and healthier by taking him for a walk.

Go to the mall and walk by all the stores, from one end and back. You don’t have to spend money, just window shop.

If your kid’s school only a few blocks away walk to school with your kids. Not only will your kids love it, the walk will give you some time to talk with them. You’ll also get them into the habit of walking.

If you want to drive somewhere, drive to the park and take a 15-30 minute walk. While you’re enjoying the scenery you’re also are getting some vital vitamin D.

If the weather’s bad walk in an indoor venue, such as the mall, an art museum or even a large city library.

There are limitless opportunities for walking that you can implement right away.
