Breathing Deeply Helps Me Find Inner Peace

My deep breathing helps me find inner peace. All the troubles and cares of the day trickle away like sand in my hands as I focus on taking slow, deep breaths.

As I fill up my lungs with fresh air I envision strength and calm entering into my body and as I exhale I envision all tension and stress dissolving and floating away.

Deep breathing fills my body and my mind with serenity and calm, allowing me to blow away my difficulties and inhaling the strength I need to face my challenges. It allows me to calm my mind and my emotions so I can make informed, responsible decisions.

Every day I make the time to breathe deeply.

As the oxygen enters my bloodstream it takes energy to my brain, enabling me to think clearly, dissipating the haze that sometimes clouds my thinking. I inhale as deeply as I can, filling my diaphragm with air, allowing my lungs to expand as they fill with fresh clean air.  Then, I release the air slowly through my nose.

As I breathe deeply I feel connected with the world around me.

As I breathe deeply I focus on my body’s rhythms to find inner peace. My deep breathing syncs with the beat of my heart, connecting my mind and body.

My life improves when I take the time to breathe deeply. Breathing deeply fills my brain and body with fresh, clean air and helps me find inner peace.

Today and every day I choose to breathe deeply.
